<p> Presentation given by Georgia Southern faculty member Lacey D. Huffling with Aerin Benavides, Catherine Matthews, and Heidi Carlone at North American Association for Environmental Education Annual Research Symposium.</p><p> <a href="https://cdn.naaee.org/sites/default/files/conference/files/naaee_2018_research_sym.online.pdf" target="_self"> Program </a></p><p> Our research question: “What is the nature of youths’ science and environmental identity formation triggered by high school scientific fieldwork experiences when viewed longitudinally?” Using an identity model based upon disciplinary agency, positioning/recognition, knowledge, and/or engagement, we seek to explain the potential longterm impacts of well-designed nonformal science learning environments</p>
