Abstract

Following some biological aspects we build a new stochastic model to solve self-organization problems. Based on the idea that the future is influenced by history, we endow our random walk robots with a new type of record function. We also investigate the convergence properties of the functional self-organization algorithm. We present theoretical arguments and an experimental simulation in support of our idea.
