Abstract

In this paper, we propose a complementary method of analysis to identify practical and applied elements of TPACK in pre-service teacher lesson plans. A total of 11 pre-service teachers consented to participate and completed the TPACK survey (Schmidt et al., 2009) and completed a technology rich lesson plan. Lesson plans were coded with respect to their demonstration of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK). Results of the coding are discussed as well as implications for teacher education and future research.
