Abstract
The purpose of this study was to provide a voice for mathematics and science teacher's reflections. The teachers were all participants of a two-week technology immersion workshop that was part of a larger yearlong professional development program for a large urban school district. Instruction required teachers to work in pairs and groups with teachers from the opposite discipline and to work in an inquiry or discovery mode. Initially, the teachers resisted both requirements. In the final reflection – with an almost singular voice – the teachers fully supported working with the opposite discipline and working on a strategy for their own learning rather than practicing two weeks worth of classroom ready activities.
