SAGE 2: "All By Myself:" Making the Most As A Stand-Alone Geographer

Research output: Contribution to conferencePresentation

Abstract

Stand-alone geographers (SAGEs) are in a unique position as they are often working in institutions with one or two other academic geographers and whose institutions do not have a conventional geography major. This session will feature panelists who will share strategies for thriving as a stand-alone geographer, and discuss ways of making the most of the opportunity to serve as the lone advocate for the discipline within our respective institutional settings.
