Statistical Considerations for Clinical Trials During COVID-19: Impacts on Minimization Randomization and Mitigations

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Randomization is an essential feature of the clinical trial design (Armitage, 1982). Randomization mitigates potential for experimental bias, promotes comparability of treatment groups, and validates the use of statistical methods for inferential analysis of trial results.
