Abstract
Four videos in a tower structure designed to provoke a rethinking of the Cold War, globalization and the US/China relationship as it has developed in the context of these. The formal properties of the work are inspired by Walter Benjamin’s theories of history and the ‘dialectic image’ that gathers together elements of the past in a flash of understanding and reconceptualization.
