Stepping Up, Speaking Out, and Resisting Everyday Oppression

Research output: Contribution to conferencePresentation

Abstract

Dry mouth, cold clammy hands, heart rate flying. When some-one says something prejudiced or does something discriminatory it can be hard, in the moment, to know how to respond. In this workshop Dr. April Schueths and Nathan Palmer offer strategies for stepping up, speaking out, and resisting everyday oppression.
