Abstract
<p> Presentation co-presented by Georgia Southern faculty member Lacey D. Huffling with Allison Freedman and Aerin W. Benavides at North American Association of Environmental Education Research Symposium, virtual conference due to Hurricane Marie impacts on Puerto Rico.</p><p> <a href="https://cdn.naaee.org/sites/default/files/conference/files/2017_rs_program.pdf" target="_blank"> Program </a></p><p> Come join a discussion on whether study abroad trips lend themselves to EE research. We will briefly compare two trips: One to Peru (EE focused) and one to the Netherlands (not EE focused). Does having an EE focus increase intercultural sensitivity, connection to place, and/or environmental identity development?</p>
