Abstract
<p> Presentation given at Annual HAPS conference</p><p> <a href="https://cdn.ymaws.com/www.hapsweb.org/resource/resmgr/Conference/HAPS-2014_Conference_Program.pdf" target="_self"> Program </a></p><p> The poster will present the results of a study that evaluated Human Anatomy and Physiology (HAP) students’ perceptions of two study guides (outline vs. completed versions) and their impact on academic achievement in class. The study targeted 750 students taught by the same instructor in 2012. In spring semester, HAPI students received the study guide outline and HAPII received the study guide outline and the completed version. In fall semester, the design was reversed. Survey was administered in class and 586 surveys were returned (78% response rate). Quantitative data was analyzed using SPSS, while qualitative data was organized into categories.</p>
