Successful Aging Panel

Research output: Contribution to conferencePresentation

Abstract

Rowe and Kahn (1997) created the concept of successful aging to include three main components: low probability of disease and disability, high cognitive and physical functioning and active engagement in life. The members of this panel exemplify successful aging on many levels. Panel members will share their own experiences as old adults and provide attendees with ideas on how to grow older while remaining active and engaged with their community.
