Teachers' Perceptions of the Effectiveness of Hybrid Technology Training

This study investigated teachers' perceptions of the effectiveness of hybrid technology training sessions with teachers in four different middle and high schools in a mid-size town in an eastern seaboard coastal area. This article will describe the detailed action plans of how the hybrid training session was conducted as well as a future research plan which will investigate the extent to which teachers perceive the effectiveness of online alternative training for improvement of their technology skills. The survey questionnaire will be constructed based on the nine dimensions of technology training. This article will conclude with possibilities of systematically structured online trainings as an effort to overcome budgetary constraints in teachers’ professional development as well as to provide insight into an improved design of technology training that meets the needs of teachers and student learning outcomes.
