Abstract

The purpose of this investigation was to explore both the lower order and hierarehieal conceptualizations of NA, using hierarchical confirmatory factor analysis (HCFA) with LISREL. Two samples were used to assess the hierarchical structure of Stokes and Levin's (1990) NA seale. We recommend HCFA to explore higher order dimensions of other constructs.
