The Oral History Project: An Interview with Wm. David Sloan

Abstract

The following interview represents the first installment of the ongoing project of AJHA’s Oral History Committee to compile and present oral history interviews with long-time members and leading mass media historians. This interview, with AJHA co-founder, Wm. David Sloan, of the University of Alabama, was conducted by Ford Risley of Penn State University on August 6, 1999, in New Orleans. It was edited by Reed Smith, at Georgia Southern University.
