Abstract

A tunable full-color-emitting Ca3Sc2Si 3O12:Ce3+, Mn2+ (CSS:Ce 3+,Mn2+) phosphor is obtained by addition of doped ions as charge compensation. White LEDs with high Ra (> 90) are achieved using the single CSS:Ce3+,Mn2+ phosphor.
