Abstract

A tunable full-color-emitting Ca₃Sc₂Si ₃O₁₂:Ce³⁺, Mn²⁺ (CSS:Ce ³⁺,Mn²⁺) phosphor is obtained by addition of doped ions as charge compensation. White LEDs with high R_a (> 90) are achieved using the single CSS:Ce³⁺,Mn²⁺ phosphor.
