Abstract
Historic monuments, tourism, development, and neoliberalism in Ghana are playing a key role in attracting people of African origin specifically from the Americas. Some of these people are seeking reconnection with their ancestral past, driving Ghananian authorities to create opportunities for expanding development strategies in the country. The government has implemented a number of policies and programs to make the country an attractive destination for the African Diaspora.
