Abstract

This chapter presents a review of the wetland remote sensing techniques and the challenges of wetland remote sensing. Following this, three case studies are presented outlining a detailed methodology for new remote sensing approaches. These new approaches promise to solve ubiquitous problems in mapping wetland species and understanding ecosystem dynamics with wetland habitats.
