World War II - The World in Flames: The Final Victory - VE and VJ Day

Research output: Contribution to conferencePresentation

Abstract

Made in collaboration with the American Legion Post #90 (Statesboro, GA) and the Bulloch County (GA) Historical Society. Collaborators, researched, designed, and produced a series of three individual traveling museum exhibits commemorating the 50th anniversary of World War II and involvement of regional residents in the war. Exhibits were designed to travel to regional museums, public buildings, and shopping malls. A major component included oral history research methodology in interviews of local veterans and the use of those first-hand accounts to interpret the larger events of the war
